I've been taking pictures of all public statues I come across in Argentina. This one from the park, Parque Carlos Thays, is definitely the most memorable yet.
As I have learned, Thays was born in Paris and moved to Argentina after a visit in 1889, which promted his move. He then went on to produce great open spaces with landscaping and architecture. Enjoy!
