Recoleta Cemetery

The Recoleta Cemetery is amazing. You could spend days in there (when the heat isn't so killer.) While walking through mazes of mausoleums, I couldn't help but notice the advertisements of today, contrasting with the ancient architecture inside. I know I am often distracted by external forces but in this case it created an interesting dialog.





Quench that thirst!



Both the statue and the running figure represent saints in way: the running figure due to its pose and the statue (quite possibly is depending on your belief)because of its biblical references ...of this series, I think they go together the best.



I hadn't seen this billboard before...now I love it!
